I was out photographing textures and backgrounds in the French Quarter the other day with my husband, Kevin. He needing libations and I needing female interaction so we headed to The Erin Rose on Conti just up from Bourbon Street to meet up with a friend and former bride, Bryony. Its a cool place that houses a little popup kitchen in the back called Killer PoBoys. Drop by when you are in New Orleans. Also took a shot of the Hotel Monteleone. Love that hotel!
I really enjoy shooting objects and places I just happen to notice while walking down the street. And the Jagermeister shot is for another former bride, Missy, who's came in town for Jazz Fest. We are going to do a little fun play on Bourbon Street while she and her new hubs are here. We really wanted to shoot in the quarter for their wedding but we were fighting the potential of a big tropical storm hitting so I thought this would be a great time to get those crazy shots.
