Eyeglass Glare is the Bane to Photographers' Existence!
We photographers aren't really evil creatures trying to change your appearance ,but sometimes those eyeglasses...man, they gotta go.
Here's the thing, many eyeglasses are not treated with an anti-reflective coating. And that is our curse.
I have my tricks but sometimes I exhaust all my tricks.
So my advice is this:
- First, try tilting your earpieces up a tad which tilts the glasses forward deflecting the glare.
- Another trick is to turn your head slightly away from the camera. Of course the photographer can always turn off the flash but it is your friend and always better to use it for formal portraits. And, he or she can set up off-camera flashes or even this giant octopus looking apparatus attached to the camera.
- The last resort is you being open-minded to removing your glasses or consider before your photography session or wedding getting a new pair of specs with anti-glare properties.
We are artists but sometimes removing eyeglass glare in photos is impossible. Check out some of the Wedding Photos with eyeglasses that have an anti-glare coating in this portfolio.
