Getting Married in the French Quarter New Orleans

You two picked New Orleans for a reason. Make sure that is a component of your wedding ceremony and wedding photos.  There are so many places you can have the ceremony performed.  Jackson Square is quite popular so don't wait to book.  Last I heard it is around $200.  Another close by place is Pirate's Alley.  It is a quaint cuby that shares a beautiful, black wrought iron, fence with St. Louis Cathedral.

Eloping off the Beaten Path of the French Quarter

Another place to elope in the French Quarter is up on the levee/boardwalk, officially called the Woldenberg Park Riverwalk.  You will have the Mississippi River in your background.  Also, a little well kept secret in New Orleans is Algiers Point.  You can get your marriage license and can have the ceremony on the river overlooking the city of New Orleans, the French Quarter, and the beautiful St. Louis Cathedral.  Or you can have the ceremony performed by an officiant you hire while floating across the Mississippi on the Canal St/Algiers Ferry.

There are many places a stones throw from the French Quarter where you can truly have a unique wedding ceremony.

I'd suggest hiring one of the many wedding officiants in town and having your ceremony in Pirates Alley in the French Quarter. Frankly New Orleans isn't necessary an cheap option tho.
